The first test in Nogaro was stopped by snowing
(15.03.2010)Announced its program in the 2010 FIA European Truck Championship at the press conference in Prague, Truck Race team Allgäuer moved to Nogaro, France, to test its race trucks in this year’s first test session.
On Monday, March 7th, the team began the test session in cold conditions, with just two degrees above zero, but the sun shined. However at night to Monday, it started to snow. Heavy snowing paralyzed traffic in some French and Spanish regions of France and Spain then.
Despite these conditions Allgäuer team’s trucks run a few laps on the partially icy tarmac. Well, it was not a test, which an experience could be gained in, and the disappointed team returned to its headquarters in Weiler, Austria, without completed its test session.
In middle of April the team is going to participate in another test. Hopefully, the weather will be better...
