Atlas FX-Team FS will run one Saleen S7-R in GT1 class during the second Le Mans Series round. The car will be driven by Adam Lacko (CZ), Julien Schroyen (B) and Carlo Van Dam (NL). The crew belongs to the experienced ones. 24-year-old Carlo Van Dam is the former Japanese F3 champion and the same old Julien Schroyen has used to start in 24 Hours races in Spa and Dubai, this year he participates in the GT3 European Championship

Adam Lacko combines his participation in the Le Mans Series with the programme in the European Truck Racing Championship. Time to time he has also appeared in Lamborghini Super Trofeo. 

Adam Lacko, driver of Atlas FX-Teamu FS: “I’ve started in Spa-Francorchamps five years ago for the last time. The track is quite demanding, especially due to its length. Very important for the race is the weather, which is specific and changeable, and changes conditions throughout the course, too. It’s quite common, that it’s raining above one part of the circuit, and second part is dry. Well, I hope in constant conditions, but unfortunately in Spa we can expect rather the changeable weather.

In Spa I will drive Saleen S7-R of Austrian Atlas FX-Team FS. This is an older specification compare to the Saleen I drove last year in FIA GT Championship. I’m not afraid of getting used to the car. Regarding I don’t know the team, I can’t estimate our result.”

The 1000KM Spa starts on May 9th at 11:30 am. There will be a live broadcast on Eurosport TV starting at 11:15 am.
