Sunday´s hell softened by Bosiger´s podium
(31.05.2011)Absolute bad luck came in the second day´s racing in Misano, Italy. Although we could be happy for Markus Bosiger´s third place in the main cup race there were incidents in both Sunday races that didn´t make us happy at all. Hahn´s performance was consistent with Saturday with nobody able to match him.
The cup race started well with all three of our drivers starting in the first three rows of the grid and from the beginning they stayed at the front. Adam and both Markus´ tried very hard to keep the pace of reigning champion Albacete and the German Hahn but unfortunately there was a collision on the first lap that cost Adam and Oese several positions.
This situation saved Markus Bosiger who held third position to the end of the race and went to the podium with Hahn again first and Albacete second. Despite our bad luck at the beginning of the race Lacko took the points for sixth position with Oestreich tenth.
Luck was not on Adam´s side either in the handicap race where he was unable to finish the race due to a technical problem. „The differential failed. It´s a crazy day,“ Said Lacko as he rolled his eyes.
After big fights our Markus´, Oestreich and Bosiger gained points for the fifth and sixth positions. The podium again looked more or less the same: first Hahn, second Albacete with Chris Levett reaching third position. „Saturday looked quite good. Al of our drivers fought hard. The truth is that Albacete and Hahn drove well but if we had a little bit of the luck that was missing I am sure that the results would´ve been different. Misano did not go
